About the data

Updated Oct 4, 2026

The reference pages, calculators and reminders use two kinds of data: lists we keep by hand, each with its sources and the date it was last checked, and, when switched on, a nightly read of a few public AwardWallet pages for the things that change fastest.

Lists we keep by hand

Programs, airlines, alliance membership, transfer partners and ratios, who can book which airline, buy-points prices, program values and the other lists below are maintained by hand. Every list shows its sources and the date it was last verified against them. The date turns amber when a list has gone too long without a check, and an internal check flags the same lists so they get looked at. An entry we could not confirm against a source is left out, or labelled as reported.

The nightly refresh

The nightly refresh is switched off on this server, so every list comes from the curated data above. When it is on, this section lists exactly what it reads.

The Award Tracker bot

If you run a website and see AwardTrackerBot/1.0 (+https://awardtracker.com/about/data) in your logs, that is us. It is a small script, not a crawler: it requests the three pages listed above, one request per page per night, reads robots.txt first and does not fetch anything it disallows, and stops for a week if a site answers with a block or a rate limit. Questions or a request to stop: get in touch.

What we don't do

We don't see live award availability, and we don't collect it from airline or program sites. Mileage prices come from published charts or recent community reports and can be wrong. Always confirm on the program's site before you transfer.

Your data

Redemptions, balances and travelers are yours. Export them any time as CSV. AwardWallet access is read-only and revocable from Settings. We never sell data or share it with partners; the only thing a partner link carries is that you came from us.
