Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Award Tracker, including the signed-in tracker, the free tools, the reference pages and the concierge. Award Tracker is operated independently and partners with The Plane Prince Travel, an independent travel advisor in New Jersey, USA, which fulfils concierge requests. By creating an account, using the site, or sending a concierge request, you agree to these terms.

1. What the service is

Award Tracker lets you record award flight and hotel redemptions, import a spreadsheet, track balances, certificates and cards, get reminders, and see totals and cents-per-point figures. It also offers calculators and reference pages about transfer partners, bonuses, alliances, and which programs can book which airlines, and an optional concierge where The Plane Prince Travel researches and helps you book awards.

Neither Award Tracker nor The Plane Prince Travel owns or operates airlines, hotels, or other suppliers. All travel is ultimately provided by third parties that have their own terms and conditions.

2. Your account

• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate sign-up details so password resets and reminders can reach you.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

3. Your data

The redemptions, notes, and other information you enter stay yours. You give me permission to store and process them so the service can work for you. See the privacy page for details.

4. The concierge: fees and payments

• Award flight requests carry a service fee, shown before you pay: one way, $125 for the first passenger and $100 for each additional passenger; round trip, $200 for the first passenger and $150 for each additional passenger. Multi-city and other complex trips are quoted individually.
• The award flight fee is paid in full when you send the request, through Stripe's hosted checkout. Research begins once it is paid. The Plane Prince Travel receives the fee, less Award Tracker's share.
• Hotel and cash-flight requests carry no service fee; The Plane Prince Travel is paid by the hotel's partner program or the airline.
• Refunds: a request you cancel before options are sent is refunded in full. If none of the options sent works for you, you can ask for one revised round or a refund, and the team may first ask once what was missing. If an option you accepted can no longer be booked, the fee is refunded. Once an option is booked, the fee is not refunded.
• Airline taxes, carrier fees, hotel costs, and the cost of points, miles, or fares are always separate from, and in addition to, the service fee.
• Tips are voluntary.
• By sending a request, you let the concierge team see the information described on the privacy page.

Award Tracker Plus and the Alerts add-on. The tracker stays free. Plus costs $7 a month or $59 a year; the Alerts add-on costs $4 a month or $39 a year. Both are billed through Stripe.

• Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until you cancel them.
• Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. There is no refund for the rest of a period, except where the law requires one.
• Your first Plus subscription starts with a 14-day free trial. The trial needs a card and turns into a paid plan at its end unless you cancel before then.
• Prices may change. You will get at least 30 days' notice by email first.
• You can add or remove the Alerts add-on at any time. Changes we make to your plan are not pro-rated: no credit is given for the unused part of a period.
• If Plus ends, nothing you recorded is deleted; the free plan's limits apply again.

5. Options and bookings

Results are presented as options with dates, cabin, points and fees; when an option is held only until a set time, that time is shown with it. Nothing is booked until you accept an option. Options are provided for your personal use; you agree not to resell, republish, or distribute them. Neither Award Tracker nor The Plane Prince Travel can promise that availability exists or that a request will result in a booking.

Award tickets are issued from your own loyalty and credit card accounts. No one at Award Tracker or The Plane Prince Travel will ask for your account passwords or log into your financial or loyalty accounts. Bookings are completed by you, in your own accounts, with The Plane Prince Travel on the line. You are responsible for the standing and accuracy of your own accounts, and for completing the booking steps as directed. A booked option is added to your redemptions log.

Live inventory: award availability changes by the second, and you agree to act promptly when presented with options. Neither Award Tracker nor The Plane Prince Travel is liable if seats become unavailable between the time options are presented and the time of booking.

Irreversible transfers: points transfers from credit card programs to airline or hotel loyalty programs are irreversible. Once points leave your bank or credit card account, they cannot be returned. If a seat is lost during the transfer process, The Plane Prince Travel will help you find another use for those miles, but the points will remain with that airline or hotel program.

6. Calculators and reference data are informational

Transfer partners, ratios, bonuses, and booking partnerships change often and can differ from what a program shows you. Each reference page lists its sources and when it was last checked, some bonuses are marked as reported rather than verified, and data that may be out of date is marked. Always confirm with the program before you transfer points or book. Cents-per-point results are arithmetic on the numbers you enter, not advice about what your points are worth. Some outbound links are partner links that may earn Award Tracker a commission; they are labelled as such.

7. AwardWallet

Connecting AwardWallet is optional. It is a separate service with its own terms, which apply to your AwardWallet account. We read the balances you allow, we are not responsible for what AwardWallet or a loyalty program reports, and balances can be out of date or wrong. Disconnect at any time from Settings.

8. Email and notifications

You choose which reminders to receive and can change or turn them off in Settings or from the link in each email. I still send messages you need to use your account, such as password resets and updates about a request you made.

9. Acceptable use

• Use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict anyone else's use of it.
• Do not try to break, overload, or probe the service, or access other people's data or any systems connected to the site.
• Do not upload files you do not have the right to use, or files meant to harm the service.

10. Accuracy of information

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and share with the concierge, including traveler names, passport details, loyalty balances, and the information you give travel suppliers.

11. Third-party suppliers

Travel arrangements are made with third-party suppliers that are not controlled by Award Tracker or The Plane Prince Travel. Neither is responsible for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any such suppliers.

12. Travel requirements and risks

You are responsible for meeting all entry, visa, health, vaccination, and documentation requirements for your trip. Travel involves inherent risks, and conditions can change quickly. By choosing to travel, you accept and assume these risks.

13. No affiliation

Award Tracker is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any airline, hotel, bank, loyalty program, AwardWallet or Stripe. Names are used only to describe them.

14. No professional advice

Information on this site is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be considered financial, legal, tax, or medical advice.

15. No guarantees and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. I work to keep it accurate and available, but I do not promise it will always be. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Award Tracker (and, for concierge requests, The Plane Prince Travel) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the site or the services. Keep your own copy of anything important; you can export your data from Settings.

16. Intellectual property

The site's content, including text, design, layout, logos, and images, is owned by or licensed to Award Tracker and is protected by intellectual property laws. Your own data remains yours.

17. Changes to the site and services

I may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the site or services at any time, including pricing and availability. A concierge request already paid for keeps the fee and refund terms shown when you sent it.

18. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

19. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Your continued use of the site or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
